Loyola University Chicago School of Law To Launch Professional Identity Formation Course

Yesterday marked a very proud moment for TiA's Founder, Carla Kupe, as alumna of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, when she trained fellow alumns and other attorneys as course instructors for the law school's first-ever, mandatory First-Year course entitled "1L Professional Identity Formation," which aims at unpacking the history of, dynamics in, and systems impacting the legal profession and raising awareness in the students about their own implicit bias, prejudice, and forms of microaggression. TiA is honored to be a co-architect for this endeavor and we are excited to see the impact of this course on the students and future members of the Bar.
